Hotels:
Check Expedia, Hotels.com, Agoda(booked mostly at agoda if prices are the same because of the points rebate)
San Francisco - Travel Lodge North Airport Hotel (overnight stay, will be back on the last day)
Nice Hotel, big rooms, near airport. Great for transit. It has a free breakfast and free shuttle.

New York - Edison Hotel
Hotel location is very good, all are walking distance, very near to the time square. But hotel rooms are very small, old, and noisy.

Washington - Washington Plaza Hotel
Great hotel, big cozy rooms and the hop on hop off bus passes by this hotel, accessible to transportation and most attractions.

Orlando - Rosen Inn Pointe Orlando
Nice Hotel, got big rooms, have a convenience store below, and free shuttle to universal studios. If you are less than 5 persons, grab a cab, don't get the airport shuttle, it will cost more and takes time.

Los Angeles - Stayed at a Relative. Try go to their mall Americana, got plenty of activities. Cabazon and Ontario Mills for the factory outlets. Citadel Factory outlet for nearer to down town.

Las Vegas - Circus Circus
It's in the tip of the strip, but booked here since it's the peakest season, people are going to Las Vegas for the count down and the prices of the hotel rooms not just only doubled or tripled but x10! If your in Las Vegas and it's not a new year's eve, you can find lots more better hotel at affordable price. But Circus Circus is not bad, the rooms are just a bit far from the main entrance, it offers a car park and is not strict on how many guest in a room, the room beside us got the whole family of 8 in a room! But the rooms are big, with 2 queen size beds, big rooms.

San Francisco - Stratford Hotel
It's along powell street, very conveniently located. Cable car just in front of the hotel, food restaurants, shopping are all walking distance. Union square is just around the corner, market street where shopping starts is just a few blocks away. Hop on Hop off bus is just at the corner. Rooms are a bit small, but it offers free breakfast, simple toast and jam. Room rate are just below 100usd, not bad for it's location with breakfast.
